Happy birthday Lambrusco !11-02-2016 - 07:46

Today we celebrate Lambrusco Ask's 20th birthday.

He is enjoying his retirement on the big grass fields surrounding Stutteri Ask after his impressing sports career.

As a sire he is not retired, and 2015 was a remarkable year for his offspring.

Lambrusco Ask by Landor S/Contender himself has several international Grand Prix placings.
He also showed his extraordinary capacity, as he won the Master Class at the JBK Horse Shows in Odense 2007.
At the age of only 9 years Lambrusco Ask was able to get into the top placings in the prestigious class, Sires of the World during the World Championships for Young Horses in Zangersheide 2005. Against hard competition he ended up at 8th place efter two clear rounds.


Offspring

Even though the pedigree of Lambrusco Ask is a thorough jumping pedigree, he delivered 3 B-horses (DK) in dressage, although his offspring still were more dominant in the jumping arena's. In Denmark he is the sire of 19 B-horses, 8 A-horses and 1 horse jumping S-classes.

 

Apart from this he is the sire of 3 mares rated BRDH, 3 mares rated SRDH, 2 approved stallions as well as the "2-year-old jumping Mare of the Year 2009", Hava Ask with dam's sire Carson.


Medals 2015

The son Laramy Ask, who has several placings in S-classes in jumping, won the Silver Medal at the Danish Jumping Championships for Senior 2015 as well as the team gold medal at the Scandinavian Championships 2015.

Lambrusco Ask is also the sire of Libak's Lamentos, who won the silver medal at the Danish Championship for Juniors 2015 as well as the team gold medal at the Scandinavian Championship for juniors 2015.

Last but last least the son of Lambrusco, Le Mans, won the bronze medal at the indoor Danish Championships for Senior riders 2015.
