Filly of the Year was our pretty and well moving Carina Ask by Action Man Ask Z.

Colt of the Year was Birkegårdens Costalago by Cornettino Ask/ Carson Ask bred by Heidi Rasmussen, whose pretty type and exceptional charisma decided his victory.

The 3-years-old jumping mare of the Year with a silvermedal was the well jumping Ci Ci Senjor Ask-daughter Cat.no. 1 Tatiana Ask, who also earned the title last year. This year she got the best mares test result of the whole crop of jumping mares.

The breeding of jumping horses is not too big in Danish Warmblood, but for sure the quality is good. This year there was only a few jumping mares in the whole country, and that is why there were only five 3-years-old mares for the medal ceremony.

Five out of ten jumping mares (2-years-old), five out of five 3-years-old medal prospects and seven foals ware offsprings from Stutteri Ask sires were selected for the elite mares show fighting for the title "Mare of the Year".

Exciting 2-years old jumping crop

In the final of the 2-years-old was catalogue 103 Venita Ask by Ci Ci Senjor Ask, bred and owned by Stutteri Ask A/S, Martofte. The winner was Pretty Pi'que de'Luxe bred by Brian Elmo out of his mare Dyrslunds Chanel.

Amongst the 2-years old there was another Ci Ci Senjor Ask offspring, the mare Syvhøjgårds Joyride and the three Favorit Ask daughters: Bøgegårdens Fiona, Fairytale S and Fidélité

Pretty foals

The first crop of Action Man Ask was very interesting, and not less than three foals were by this sire. Amongst them was the Filly of the Year, Carina Ask, where the judges pointed out the nice type, the flexible top line and a very powerful hindpart. The canter is extraordinary, up-hill with good self carriage and balance.

The two other foals by Action Man Ask Z were the two colts cat. 210 Action Match Hillock and cat. 211 Almond

Todt Un Prince Ask made a good impression as a sire during the foals show at Stutteri Ask at the Ask Open, where he had four offsprings and all four went into the final ring. The filly KLAIRE D'HILLOCK was selected for the Elite foal show.

Favorit Ask presented the two colts Falcon and Fanci F.P, the last one came into the final.

Colt of the Year was - as mentioned earlier - BIRKEGÅRDENS COSTALAGO by Cornettino Ask/Carson Ask. It is a colt of a mares family, who has been represented quite often at the Elite Mares Show. The judges were most impressed by the charisma and the pretty type of the colt. Also the energic and powerful canter was mentioned.
