Favorit Ask Sire of the Year 2017! 12-03-2017 - 14:00

Favorit Ask was honored as "Sire of the Year" of the Danish Warmblood this year - now he is the 20th sire who has achieved this honour.

This honour was former achieved by another stallion of the stud, as Casir Ask became "Sire of the Year" in 2008

The Belgian sire already put his stamp on the youngest generations of the Danish jumping horse breeding. As he was imported, he represented new blood lines through Diamant de Semilly – Darco – Quidam de Revel, which is a concentration of  international performance. In Favorit a string of breeding giants is combined with a strong performance dam line. The mothermother Quinette ter Putte has done S-classes herself, and amongst others she is the dam of Bonjour ter Putte and Darco de Revel, which is a full brother to the dam of Favorit Ask, Ukase ter Putte. She is the dam of the approved stallions Koko ter Putte and Elvis ter Putte, who is the full brother of Favorit. Elvis is one of the most successful young stallions in Belgium, and the last year he won.

Favorit won the Danish 35 days test with more than 900 point and he becvame champion stallion in Herning.

 

Favorit Ask has proved through the first years of offspring, that he has the ability to revolution the jumping horse breeding in Denmark. Through his offspring and his own results he has been approved Elite sire, and apart from that, he can use the title as sire of the "Colt of the year" beim Dansk Varmblod 2017.

He delivered e winning foal at the foal shows of the Dansk Varmblods foal shows all over, as well as he nhas delivered the jumping 2-yer-old mare of the year, the best jumping stallion in Herning 2014 and 2015, one premium stallion, tyhe jumping mare of the year, as well as five bronce-, six silver-  and one goldmedal mare.
